Performance Outreach

Performance Outreach is one of Calgary Music Academy’s most popular programs. The program consists of 25 students ages five to eighteen, who play violin, cello, piano, guitar and voice. Performance Outreach is an opportunity for amateur music students to gain performance experience while doing community outreach.
Calgary Music Academy’s Performance Outreach has performed near 150 concerts and reached thousands of
people within the communities of Calgary including senior homes, hospitals, community centers, churches and
schools. The program builds confidence in students by giving them the chance to connect with people and
share their talents in a non-judgmental environment. Students can put their volunteer hours towards high school applications, university applications and on resumes.
